The month of December, 2008 and January, 2009 have been very great for the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Malawi. Apart from Christmas activities like prayers, visiting the sick and evangelizing the unreached areas, we had our first Pastors Meeting. The meeting which started from 26 through 28 December was very great as we praised God for the rapid growth of the Church in Malawi. Just imagine that we now have over 20 congregations with an average of six prayer houses. The average membership per congregation is now at 250, What a growth! The pastors discussed many things including the continuation of preaching God's Word especially in the unreached and Muslim areas, teaching members for them to understand the reformed faith so that they can easily share with others, Bible Study Classes, Youth Ministry, Sunday School classes, Baptism classes just to mention a few. Our request to WRF members is that we need your prayers especially in areas of need. We also need Youth study material and Sunday School materials. May God bless you all. Rev.
